Henderson Hospital Earns 11th Consecutive "A" Hospital Safety Grade From The Leapfrog Group for Fall 2023
Henderson Hospital earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade in Fall 2023 from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog that sets standards for excellence in patient care. Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 national performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent harm.
“Our cultural foundation is built on our commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes,” said Sam Kaufman, CEO of Henderson Hospital. “Sustaining an ‘A’ Grade from Leapfrog for 11 consecutive cycles is a challenge, but one that our hospital staff and medical staff rise to, every shift, every day. They are the faces, and the reasons, we received this grade.”
